The only tax deduction for a local government election is up to $1,000
If you wish to contribute financially towards Pete’s campaign, the funds will assist with corflute signs, promotional materials which could include flyers and how to vote cards, billboards and banners.
You will have to disclose your contribution to the ECQ disclosure system if it exceeds $500 in total donations/value, it is easy to do so. The links below will assist you in this.
